The A-WARD Rail Shear works faster and at a fraction of the cost of comparable hydraulic attachments for breaking rail and cutting wire rope. It is the preferred excavator attachment for the in-place demolition of railroad track of all sizes, drag cable, crane wire, wire strops and cast iron. The blades are specially designed to cut the heavy side of the rail. The rail simply pops apart with no violent projectiles.
The use of thicker high tensile steel for fabrication give the Rail Shear greater durability than other mobile rail cutters, increasing the life of the attachment and therefore long term profitability. The speed and efficiency of this shear means a more profitable operation on site.
